My stay at LHotel was a fantastic experience overall. The location was perfect for exploring Old Montreal, and I loved the unique art and decor throughout the hotel. However, I did have a few misgivings during my stay, like the breakfast options being a bit basic. Still, the attentive staff and beautiful room made it a trip to remember.

LHotel is in an very nice spot! I could walk easily to restaurants, shops, and attractions in Old Town. The proximity to metro stations made getting around the city a breeze.

The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, just a croissant and coffee without a lot of options. I wish there had been more to choose from because it felt a bit lacking compared to the rest of the hotel experience.

I had a mixed experience at LHotel in Montreal. The location is stellar, just a short walk from the charming Old Montreal area, but the service and breakfast left much to be desired. While my room was clean and comfortable, I was frustrated with the lack of basic amenities and the overall vibe felt a little pretentious.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and featured comfortable beds, though it lacked some expected amenities like a mini bar and proper coffee pods.

The staff was friendly, but the service seemed a bit nonchalant compared to other hotels I've experienced. I ran into frustrations with issues in my room that took too long to address.
Location

Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing. It consisted mainly of stale pastries with limited options, which didn't meet my expectations for a 4-star hotel.

LHotel in Montreal caught my attention with its stunning architecture and eclectic art pieces. The location is unbeatable, right near the Notre-Dame Basilica and other attractions. However, my experience was marred by the outdated room, inadequate breakfast options, and a concerning staff response to a privacy issue. While the character of the hotel is inviting, I’m unsure I would return.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was dark and faced a light well, lacking adequate lighting during the day. It felt outdated, and even finding a working lamp was a challenge. There were also unsettling issues with cleanliness that I couldn’t overlook.
Service
6.0
I found the staff generally friendly, though my experience with a privacy concern could have been handled better. The response felt dismissive, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, just steps from the heart of Old Montreal and the Notre-Dame Basilica. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was limited to coffee and pastries, which felt a bit insufficient for a hotel of this caliber. I would have appreciated more variety, like fruits or proteins.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel includes standard facilities, but there were no extras to elevate the experience, especially considering the price point. Housekeeping performed well, but I wished for more attention to detail.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lhotel in Montreal, although there were a few quirks to note. The ambiance and art throughout the hotel added a unique charm, making it feel special and reflective of the city's spirit. I appreciated the spaciousness of my room, which had lovely high ceilings, but I did find some aspects that could use a more updated touch. Overall, this boutique hotel offers a fantastic location and a great atmosphere, though it may not be for everyone.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location in Old Montreal was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. However, I faced several issues with my room, such as maintenance problems and a lack of basic amenities. While the hotel had a lovely ambiance with unique artwork, the service I received was lacking, especially when it came to addressing my concerns during my stay.

Rooms

My room was spacious and had high ceilings, but it was also poorly maintained. The amenities were lacking, like the TV that wouldn't work and the broken faucet. Overall, it was disappointing.
Service

Service was just okay; it felt like staff were more interested in chatting with each other than helping guests. When I reported issues, the response was slow and not very helpful.
Location
8.0
The location was ideal—just steps away from Notre Dame and close to restaurants and cafes. It made sightseeing really enjoyable, and I appreciated being in the heart of Old Montreal.
